Peatland Hydrology Monitoring

10 Jun 2026 - 14 Jun 2026Katingan, Kalimantan TengahVerified

Field journal

Field teams measured water levels and inspected monitoring points to establish a consistent peatland hydrology baseline.

Monitoring was conducted to understand water-level changes across the peatland intervention landscape. The data establishes a hydrology baseline before further activities begin.

12 monitoring points inspected

The field team visited each monitoring point, inspected the equipment, recorded water levels, and documented nearby canal conditions. A consistent procedure was used so results can be compared over time.

Early findings show that most points can support routine monitoring. Two locations require a follow-up visit after access was delayed by rainfall.
